A striking ring design that you won't see anywhere else! Mystical and magical, these rings are adorned with alternating valknut knots. From wikipedia: The valknut (coined from Old Norse valr, "slain warriors" and knut, "knot") is a symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles. It appears on a variety of objects from the archaeological record of the ancient Germanic peoples. The compound noun valknut is from the modern era. The term used for the symbol during its historical employment is unknown.
Scholars have proposed a variety of explanations for the symbol, sometimes associating it with the god Odin, and it has been compared to the three-horned symbol found on the 9th-century Snoldelev Stone, with which it may be related. Hilda Ellis Davidson theorizes a connection between the valknut, the god Odin and "mental binds":
For instance, beside the figure of Odin on his horse shown on several memorial stones there is a kind of knot depicted, called the valknut, related to the triskele. This is thought to symbolize the power of the god to bind and unbind, mentioned in the poems and elsewhere. Odin had the power to lay bonds upon the mind, so that men became helpless in battle, and he could also loosen the tensions of fear and strain by his gifts of battle-madness, intoxication, and inspiration.
These rings are cast in sterling silver, and made of 100% recycled metal. The finish shown in the images is brushed with patina. We can make this ring with different finishes, please see the last image for a comparison of the different options.
This Celtic ring design differs from most Celtic patterns in that the knotwork goes all the way around the ring in an unbroken pattern, symbolizing the continuous and intertwining nature of true love. Each one is individually made in your size so the width of the ring varies depending on how wide your finger is, so all rings match proportionally (see the chart below to see how big the ring is in your size). We can vary the width, please message us if you would like a custom width.
All our Celtic rings are individually made to order in your size and metal, please contact us if you need a larger or smaller size than listed. Our rings designs can be made in sterling silver, gold (10K, 14K or 18K), or platinum; we cannot cast in titanium, tungsten or steel. We do take custom requests, if you have a ring or other jewelry you'd like made, don't hesitate to contact us!
We create each one of these Celtic rings from design to finish. We create each piece from scratch, and hand finish and polish each one. All jewelry is made in the USA from recycled materials and set with lab or conflict free stones. We do offer payment plans available for our more expensive ($400 and over) pieces. Most pieces can be customized, if you'd like a different stone, stone shape or stone size, please message us so we can create a lovely custom piece for you!

Our rings are handmade and most take 5 weeks to craft. You can upgrade your shipping at checkout to a 2 day express option (USA)and add in the order notes the day of your wedding. We will try our best for requests that are within the 4-5 week mark, but we cannot make any guarantees. 2tone rings, platinum and rings with gemstones will take longer than solid wedding bands.
Upgrading your shipping option will decrease transit time but it does not mean production time will be decreased. We cannot offer rushed production at this time.
We highly, highly suggest you purchase our refundable ring sizer as most of our rings cannot be resized. https://www.etsy.com/listing/93717826 Please see article here for sizing tips: https://celticeternityjewelry.wordpress.com/2023/04/19/ring-size/
For wedding bands with stones or continuous knotwork (80% of our designs), cutting the ring for re-sizing would ruin the pattern. We will need to make a brand new ring in the new size; there is a 35% fee of the original cost to cover the labor required to make a new ring. Creating a new ring takes our standard 4-6 weeks. We only offer this discounted remake service once; if you order the incorrect size again, you will have to purchase the ring at full value. We know this is frustrating but we are a small business.
You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your ring to tell us if you need a resize. Original ring must be returned.
Our rings are made with lab-grown stones. These are REAL STONES (not fake cubic zirconia) and they are chemically identical to naturally occurring ones, but they are better for the earth because we can find them in a lab versus having to dig randomly in the soil.
We can make any ring in sterling silver, gold (10K, 14K, 18K, yellow, white, or rose) or platinum. We do not offer tungsten, steel, or titanium.
WHITE GOLD - gold is naturally yellow. White gold uses added alloys to give a white-ish appearance but it will still have a slightly yellow hue. We do not rhodium plate our rings unless specifically asked as this coating is temporary and will wear off over time.
We suggest polished + patina for most rings.
Patina is a method of darkening metal through oxidation. This allows small details to stand out and gives the ring a beautiful contrast. Almost all our photos use patina.
Polish is the standard finish you see in high end jewelry - bright, shiny and very reflective.
Brushed is a matte finish recommended for those who are hard on their hands or do rough work. The surface will not be shiny so it hides any scuffs that might occur during wear. Be warned, this will look much duller than our polished finish.
Please see last image in listings for examples of the different finish styles.
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A STANDARD LISTING.
Depending on your needs, we may accept custom requests. Please send us:

5. Wedding Date
If it's not based on one of our existing designs, you will NEED to send us a sketch.
We will give you a quote and if you agree, begin working on your custom design. This can take 4-12 weeks. Once you approve the design, we will create a custom listing for purchase. Upon full payment, your ring will enter production which takes 4-6 weeks.
ALL QUOTES ARE IN USD and do not include taxes/import $
For purchases over $400, we offer a 2 payment layaway option.
For purchases over $800, we offer 2 or 4 payment layaway option.
For purchases over $1500, we offer 2, 4 or 6 layaway option.
We are flexible on finish dates, but we require rings to be paid in full before they enter production (rings take 4-6 weeks to create). Please complete all payments 3 months before special dates, wedding, anniversary etc to allow time for production and rare shipping delays.
***CUSTOM ORDERS are not eligible for layaway options. We require payment in full.

It is industry standard to recommend that fine jewelry be removed before interacting with water, lotion, or other chemicals. This will allow the ring's finish and patina to last as long as possible. That said, our rings are made of precious metals and water will not affect the structural integrity of the ring.
